Most recently a woman said she was walking in the area of Downtown Denver early Tuesday morning, when she was approached by a man walking in the opposite direction. The woman told 7NEWS reporter Dayle Cedars she was not concerned for her safety as the man walked toward her on the sidewalk. He then went straight for her throat she said."He did not want to rob me. He did not want to rape me. I think he wanted to kill me," said the woman. She said she was able to reach into her purse during the attack and grab her pepper spray and spray the attacker.
